The LRS-200N2-12 is the 12V output model in MEAN WELL's LRS-200N2 series of 200W single-output enclosed industrial power supplies. Delivering 17A at 12V DC with 204W rated power, this model is engineered for high-current 12V industrial applications including motor drives, automation control systems, and LED lighting installations requiring substantial low-voltage power.

Unlike the LRS-100N2 series which features universal AC input, the LRS-200N2 series uses a switch-selected 115/230VAC input design (90~132VAC or 180~264VAC via front-panel switch). This allows optimized efficiency at each input range. The series also accepts 240~370VDC input when the switch is set to 230VAC position.

The LRS-200N2-12 features the series' signature 200% peak power capability—delivering up to 408W momentarily (t ≤ 5s, duty ≤ 35%) to handle motor inrush currents, solenoid actuation, and capacitive load startup without triggering protection circuits. This is particularly valuable in 12V systems with frequent start/stop cycles or high inrush loads.

With 17A of continuous output current, the LRS-200N2-12 is ideal for industrial automation machinery, PLC control systems, DC motor drives, LED strip lighting arrays, and telecom equipment. The 215×115×30mm metal housing with perforated mesh design enables fanless natural convection cooling, operating reliably from -25°C to +70°C.
