The LRS-350N2 uses a switchable 90~132VAC / 180~264VAC input (selected via built-in switch), and also supports 240~370VDC input. Available in four output voltages - 12V, 24V, 36V, and 48V - it delivers up to 29A at 12V and 7.3A at 48V, covering a wide range of high-power industrial requirements.

Measuring 215x115x30mm, the LRS-350N2 packs 350W into the same slim footprint as lower-wattage LRS models. Unlike its fanless siblings, it incorporates a built-in DC fan with intelligent on/off control: the fan activates when the internal heatsink temperature (RTH3) reaches 50C and turns off when it drops below 40C. This active cooling enables full-load operation across a -20C to +70C ambient range - a critical advantage for sealed control cabinets and high-temperature industrial settings.

The defining advantage is the 200% peak power output (up to 700W). When starting motors, solenoids, relays, or other inductive/capacitive loads, the unit delivers double its rated wattage momentarily - essential for CNC machining centers, large packaging machinery, conveyor systems, and any application with high-inrush start/stop cycles where a 200W or 100W supply simply cannot meet demand.

No. The LRS-350N2 features intelligent fan on/off control based on internal heatsink temperature (RTH3). The fan activates only when RTH3 reaches 50C and turns off when it drops below 40C. Under light loads or in cool environments, the fan may remain off entirely - reducing noise, power consumption, and fan wear while the unit operates in near-silent passive cooling mode.

How does the LRS-350N2 differ from the LRS-200N2?

The LRS-350N2 delivers 350W vs 200W - a 75% power increase in the same 215x115x30mm footprint. Key differences: (1) active cooling with a built-in DC fan vs fanless convection, enabling full-load operation at 70C ambient; (2) higher currents across all voltages (29A vs 17A at 12V); (3) slightly narrower minimum temperature (-20C vs -25C); (4) lower MTBF due to active components. Choose the LRS-200N2 for fanless silence and higher reliability; choose the LRS-350N2 when you need 350W output or sustained high-temperature operation.

Can the LRS-350N2 be used in EU countries?

The LRS-350N2 is not compliant with EN61000-3-2 harmonic current limits. It should NOT be used in end equipment meeting ALL of these conditions: (a) used within the EU, (b) connected to 220VAC+ public mains, (c) installed in equipment with average input power >75W, and (d) part of a lighting system. Professional equipment rated >1,000W and symmetrically controlled heating elements <=200W are exempt. For EU applications within these restrictions, consider the LRS-350N3 series instead.

Is the 48V model BIS-certified for India?

The 48V model is not currently covered under the BIS (IS 13252) certification. The 12V, 24V, and 36V models are BIS-certified and should be selected for shipments to India.

How do I set the correct input voltage on the LRS-350N2?

The LRS-350N2 uses a built-in selector switch to choose between 115VAC (90~132VAC) and 230VAC (180~264VAC) input ranges. Always verify the switch position matches your local mains voltage before powering on. Incorrect setting may cause damage. For DC input (240~370VDC), set the switch to the 230VAC position.
