The LRS-600N2-36 is the 36V output model in MEAN WELL's LRS-600N2 series of 600W single-output enclosed industrial power supplies. Delivering 16.6A at 36V DC with 597.6W rated power and 92% efficiency - tied for highest in the LRS N2 family. This model is designed for specialized industrial equipment, communication systems, and applications requiring a higher voltage rail with best-in-class energy conversion.
Like all LRS-600N2 models, the LRS-600N2-36 uses a switchable 90~132VAC / 180~264VAC input (selected via built-in switch) and supports 255~370VDC input. It features the series' signature 200% peak power capability - delivering up to 1,195W momentarily to handle startup surges. The 36V output is commonly used in specialized industrial machinery, LED grow lights, and communication infrastructure.
At 92% peak efficiency, the LRS-600N2-36 generates the least waste heat of any LRS N2 model, making it the best choice for thermally constrained installations. The built-in DC fan with intelligent thermal control (activates at 50C, off at 40C) ensures sustained full-load operation in demanding environments.
The LRS-600N2-36 holds BS IEC/UL62368-1, BS EN/EN61558-1/-2-16, GB4943.1 (CQC), and BIS IS13252 certifications, is rated for altitudes up to 2,000 meters, and comes with a 3-year warranty. Note: OVP requires ~4 min cooldown after tripping; not EN61000-3-2 compliant for certain EU applications.
