The LRS-600N2-48 is the 48V output model in MEAN WELL's LRS-600N2 series of 600W single-output enclosed industrial power supplies. Delivering 12.5A at 48V DC with 600W rated power and 92% peak efficiency, it is optimized for Power-over-Ethernet (PoE) infrastructure, telecom equipment, and high-power LED lighting systems where energy efficiency directly impacts total cost of ownership.
Like all LRS-600N2 models, the LRS-600N2-48 uses a switchable 90~132VAC / 180~264VAC input (selected via built-in switch) and supports 255~370VDC input. It features the series' signature 200% peak power capability - delivering up to 1,200W momentarily. 48V is the preferred voltage for telecom, PoE, and high-power LED applications where lower current reduces I2R losses and allows longer cable runs.
At 92% efficiency - tied with the 36V model for best in class - the LRS-600N2-48 generates minimal waste heat, reducing cooling requirements and energy costs. The built-in DC fan with intelligent thermal control (activates at 50C, off at 40C) provides reliable cooling when needed without unnecessary noise.
The LRS-600N2-48 holds BS IEC/UL62368-1, BS EN/EN61558-1/-2-16, GB4943.1 (CQC), and BSMI CNS15598-1 certifications, is rated for altitudes up to 2,000 meters, and comes with a 3-year warranty. Important: The 48V model is NOT BIS-certified for India. OVP requires ~4 min cooldown after tripping; not EN61000-3-2 compliant for certain EU applications.
