Product Overview

The MEAN WELL XLG-75-DA2 series is a 75W AC-to-DC constant-power LED driver family with DALI-2 digital dimming, IP67 protection, Class 2 power rating, and Type HL certification for Class I, Division 2 hazardous location lighting (H-Type only). It is designed for LED street lighting, architectural lighting, bay lighting, flood lighting, stage lighting, sports lighting, and industrial lighting.

It accepts universal 100~305VAC input (142~431VDC) and provides a constant-power 75W output. Two output types are available: L-Type with default current 700mA and CC region 53~107V, and H-Type with default current 1400mA and CC region 27~56V. Output current can be adjusted via an internal potentiometer (350~1050mA for L-Type, 700~2100mA for H-Type). With peak efficiency up to 90%, the driver uses a fanless design and operates at case temperatures from -40C to +90C under free air convection.

The metal enclosure carries an IP67 rating for both indoor and outdoor use. All DA2 versions support IEC 62386 DALI-2 DT6 digital dimming down to approximately 8% minimum brightness, with isolated dimming circuitry. India versions (XLG-75I-L-DA2 / XLG-75I-H-DA2) add input over-voltage protection at 320~370VAC and comply with IS 15885. No-load / standby power consumption is below 0.5W.

Protection includes short-circuit (hiccup or constant current limiting), over-temperature (de-rate to 75% then 50%, auto-recovery), and input over-voltage (320~370VAC on I-Type only, auto-recovery; withstand 440VAC for 48h). The driver complies with global lighting safety and EMC standards including UL8750 Type HL, CSA, ENEC, AS/NZS, BS EN/EN, GB/T, EAC, and IS 15885 (I-Type only), and is backed by a 5-year warranty. Note: a switch must be installed between the mains and the LED driver to meet the latest ErP regulations.
