The LRS-100N2-36 is the 36V output model in MEAN WELL's LRS-100N2 series of 100W single-output enclosed industrial power supplies. Delivering 2.8A at 12V DC with 100.8W rated power, this model is optimized for low-voltage industrial control circuits, LED lighting systems, and automation equipment requiring a stable 12V rail.
Like all LRS-100N2 models, the LRS-100N2-36 accepts 85~264VAC universal AC input and supports 120~373VDC input. It features the series' signature 200% peak power capability—delivering up to 201.6W momentarily to handle motor inrush and capacitive load startup without triggering protection circuits. This makes it particularly effective in 36V industrial systems with frequent start/stop cycles.
The 36V output is the most commonly used voltage for PLC controllers, relay logic, sensor networks, LED strip lighting, and small DC motors. With 2.8A of continuous current and 200% peak headroom, the LRS-100N2-36 can handle demanding loads that would trip lesser power supplies.
The LRS-100N2-36 is backed by TUV BS EN/EN62368-1, UL62368-1, BS EN/EN61558-1/-2-16, and GB4943.1 (CQC) certifications, rated for operation at altitudes up to 4,000 meters, and comes with a 3-year warranty.
