The RSP-150 series is MEAN WELL's 150W premium enclosed power supply with active PFC - the highest-power fanless model in the standard RSP enclosed lineup. With 90% peak efficiency, 5,000-meter altitude rating (OVC II), and full global certifications, it is designed for the most demanding industrial, test & measurement, and high-altitude applications where both power density and regulatory compliance are critical.

Built with active PFC (PF>0.98 at 115VAC) and universal 85~264VAC input, the RSP-150 is EN61000-3-2 compliant for EU residential use and meets Class B EMC (EN55032). The 5,000m altitude rating (OVC II per UL/IEC/EN 62368) is a standout feature - most enclosed supplies are limited to 2,000-4,000m - making it suitable for telecommunications towers, mountain installations, and aerospace ground support.

Measuring 199x99x30mm, the RSP-150 extends the length to 199mm (vs 179mm for RSP-100) while maintaining the slim 30mm profile. It supports 5,000uF external output capacitance on 3.3V, 5V, 7.5V, and 12V models - expanding the large-capacitance support to include 12V. BIS certification covers 3.3V, 5V, 12V, 15V, 24V, 27V models (7.5V, 13.5V, and 48V excluded).

Can the RSP-150 be used in EU residential equipment?

Which models are BIS-certified for India?

BIS IS13252 certification covers RSP-150-3.3, -5, -12, -15, -24, and -27. The 7.5V, 13.5V, and 48V models are not BIS-certified. This is a broader exclusion than RSP-75/100 (which only exclude 48V).

Does low AC input voltage affect output power?

Yes. At low AC input voltages (below ~100VAC), the RSP-150 requires output derating. Continuous full-load operation at 85VAC may not be possible without derating.
