Product Overview

The MEAN WELL HLG-60H series is a 60W AC-to-DC LED driver family featuring both constant-voltage (CV) and constant-current (CC) output modes. It is designed for LED street lights, high-bay fixtures, parking lighting, fishing lights, and greenhouse lighting.

It accepts universal 90~305VAC input (127~431VDC) and provides eight fixed output voltage options: 15V, 20V, 24V, 30V, 36V, 42V, 48V, and 54V. With peak efficiency up to 90.5%, the driver uses a fanless design and operates at case temperatures from -40C to +80C under natural convection.

The metal enclosure carries IP67 or IP65 ratings depending on the version and is certified to UL8750 Type HL for Class I Division 2 hazardous location luminaires. Five function versions are available: Blank (fixed output, IP67), A (internal potentiometer adjustment, IP65), B (3-in-1 dimming, IP67), AB (pot adjustment + 3-in-1 dimming, IP65), and D (timing dimming, IP67).

Protection includes OVP, OTP, short-circuit hiccup, and over-current constant-current limiting. The driver withstands 4KV line-to-ground and 2KV line-to-line surge, complies with global lighting safety and EMC standards, and is backed by a 7-year warranty.

What is the difference between HLG-60H and HLG-40H?

HLG-60H delivers 60W output compared to 40W on HLG-40H. Both share the same CV+CC dual-mode design, IP67/IP65 sealing, Type HL certification, and 7-year warranty. HLG-60H offers higher current per voltage class and is suitable for brighter or larger luminaires.

Can HLG-60H be used for direct LED drive?

Yes. Each voltage model has a specified constant-current range (e.g., 14.4~24V for HLG-60H-24). If the LED string forward voltage falls within that range, the driver operates in constant-current mode. It can also power LED modules with built-in constant-current drivers in constant-voltage mode.

Which version type should I choose?

Blank for simple fixed-output outdoor luminaires. A-Type for fixtures needing voltage/current tuning via internal pot. B-Type for smart lighting with 1-10V/PWM/resistor dimming. AB-Type for maximum flexibility with both tuning and dimming. D-Type for timing dimming functions (contact MEAN WELL for details).

What IP rating do I get with each version?
