The XDR-240 series is MEAN WELL's most advanced 240W DIN rail power supply — the flagship of the XDR family with MODBus communication, parallel operation up to 960W (3+1), and 95.5% peak efficiency. It integrates industrial IoT connectivity with power supply management, enabling real-time monitoring, remote control, and system-level coordination previously requiring external hardware.

In a 40mm slim profile, the XDR-240 delivers 240W from 85~305Vac input with Active PFC (PF>0.98) and dual-stage 80KHz PFC + 65KHz PWM + MCU control. Four units can be paralleled via CS/GND current-sharing pins for up to 960W total output — a first in the XDR family. The bi-color LED provides 5 distinct diagnostic patterns (red pulses) for overload, overvoltage, overtemperature, reverse voltage, and system faults.

All XDR premium features are present: ORing FET reverse voltage protection, DC OK relay contact, remote ON/OFF (RC+5V_AUX short=ON), 200% peak power (480W for 5 seconds), and 600% transient peak current for 15ms — significantly longer than XDR-120's 4~10ms. The MODBus interface (D+/D- pins) provides access to output voltage, power, input voltage, and status parameters for integration with PLCs and SCADA systems.
